Through our 'Community Action' program, Open Heart Ministries serves countless of less fortunate individuals that are economically disadvantaged and stricken with homelessness. We provide many needed, seasonal resources unto all free of charge. The images shown below derive from our 'Winter Drive' event, where we provided close to 200 men, women, and children with over 1000 lbs. of sleeping bags, coats, gloves, boots, hats, shoes, clothing, undergarments, hygeine items, backpacks, and more at Antlers Park in downtown Colorado Springs,co., on October 24, 2015. We also brought along 40 pizzas, water, and snacks to feed all in attendance. We thank Little Ceasers Pizza for the discounted price they provided on the pizzas, and we will continue to make frequent visits during our calendar year unto these wonderful individuals for the purpose of providing them with essential resources.
