OUR CHRISTMAS DAY

Our Christmas day was well spent as we enjoyed fellowship with over 150 of our neighbors stricken with homelessness among three different parks within our community. We purchased, gift wrapped, and provided over twelve hundred dollars worth of new tents, sleeping bags, blankets, backpacks, winter outfits and more unto all in attendance. We also stuffed stockings with body heat packs, flashlights, hats, gloves, socks, and underwear;  a hearty, home cooked meal was also served! It was a glorious time spent as we shared the love and joy of Christmas day with those who otherwise would have not received anything on this holiday that represents the greatest gift given unto mankind; salvation through Jesus Christ the Son of the living God.

We were greeted by large crowds of friends and neighbors at the location of each park that we visited.

And the second, like it, is this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these."

Mark 12: 31

We were grateful for the opportunity to spend our Christmas day with our less-fortunate neighbors, and to minister the love of Jesus christ unto them all in a tangible way.

The gifts were packed with much needed resources and winter gear of all sizes.
